Superb photos da.. Never thought the W35 can perform to this extent (Guess it has a rounded aperture.. great feature to have in such a class of camera!!).. I am amazed at the detail it has captured.. Even the background objects are visible 'through' the water drops... And, nice compositions too...

And, you travelling too frequently to Bryant park or what??

Ya, W35 is quite impressive when it comes to macros. Infact, for a while I thought the 550D was not as good as W35 in macros. But the 550D proved me wrong when I took few macros recently. Will put them in upcoming days.

beautiful clicks ra macha.. and btw do you own a canon 550D too? How is it? I am planning to buy it next month ra...!!

Thanks da TG. Yes, I bought a 550D recently. Its a very good SLR that offers some advanced features at a very good price. The details & color of the images is good too. But it is a bit tough to learn & operate if it is your first SLR. You need to be prepared for a tough first month with it :) Simply put, buy it.

really good collections dude.. keep rocking with your photography skills.. :)

and btw.. for how much did u get the 550D? in chennai spencers it is around 35k ra... including the 18-55mm lens kit and bag... is it the right price?

TG, 35k is a nice deal for the 550D. you shud infact go for it. I bot it for 34k at ebay.
But, the 18-55mm kit leaves you severely handicapped. You would need to buy a 55-250mm to take long shots sooner or later. My suggestion is to buy the 550D body alone and buy a 28-105mm lens. The total price will come around 40-42k.
